Fuck you google
Ok this note was was inspired by this material

Couple of days ago google rolled out Buzz heck even put it in my e-mail. New features cool this is what my geek brain fired off instantly i sighed up. But it turns out that the shitty thing shares WAY to much info including you geographical location read – where the hell am i in the real world. Great…
So here we stand on a verge of a MONUMENTAL privacy fuck up. Tested yourself in the field for adding contacts just put a random name you will be able to track their activities all across the google network. Chat status youtube READER activity you name it. The thing that really sets me off is the bloody fact that no one asked me for this shit. It is not an opt in service hell i had to read bloody support forums for 30 minutes until i figured out away to completely disable the crap.
Bye Bye
Google

None of these answers are complete. Clicking Turn off Buzz at the bottom of your gmail page only removes the Buzz links from Gmail. To completely stop using Buzz you have to:
1) First go to your google account settings https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccountand see if you have a profile. If you do, remove it completely. MAKE SURE YOU DON’T DESTROY your e-mail
2) Then un-follow all the people Google made you auto-follow, and block anyone following you. (I think this step is actually optional, since without a profile and Buzz turned off, there is no sharing of information between Buzz contacts)
3) Then at the bottom of your gmail page, click “Turn off Buzz”

Google to bring about the apocalypse with a phone and a fish ?
The boys and girls at Google apparently have some idea how the future should look. Remember those times before the big tower thingy they attempted to build in Babylon… Single language entire humanity and all…
No clue ? Well read a book or the Bible to be exact, but I will save you the time here -Tower of Babel.
Money quote – Wikipedia
According to the biblical account, a united humanity of the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating from the east, participated in the building. The people decided their city should have a tower so immense that it would have "its top in the heavens’
While i like the idea apparently the commander and chief of Heaven did not and some smiting took place. Go figure.
Ok back to modern times apparently Google is working on a phone that can bring the good old days aka. translate everything. No question about it, this thing sounds cool i mean i literally.
Money quote – Gizmodo via the The Times a dude named ‘Franz Och’ who apparently is mister ‘Big Fish’ or should i say ‘Babel Fish’ in Google’s translation division.
"We think speech-to-speech translation should be possible and work reasonably well in a few years’ time.
Clearly, for it to work smoothly, you need a combination of high-accuracy machine translation and high-accuracy voice recognition, and that’s what we’re working on.
If you look at the progress in machine translation and corresponding advances in voice recognition, there has been huge progress recently."
Very Good idea mister Och lets just hope that the roll out date is not somewhere in winter 2012….
